Pros

The pay is above average. Wendy and Dave are suprisingly helpful but I feel sorry for them. All in all nice people but thats it.

Cons

Upper management just lies. Lies about what is happening and then lies to cover that up. One day you hear that your going to be fired but then that afternoon see a bunch of jobs open. Theres no future here and everyone knows it. Just waiting for the end.

Pros

Great technology and innovation in the industry. Excellent training opportunities.

Cons

The work environment is not very stable. Each plant virtually operates differently from other SR Plants. Bureaucratic and favoritism work environments are at all levels of management. This impedes creativity and innovation. Most gem employees leave or are railroaded out of the company.

Pros

Pride in creating something from nothing. Most workers are common folk like you and good people. (Mostly) 4 day work weeks. Good pay rate for area.

Cons

Supervision / Management lacking in ethics and employee concerns. Very dirty, dusty working conditions (Fiberglass and saw dust). Always working in the "Dark" as far as information goes. No real work instructions, you do job from memory or experience. Tight working conditions.
