Pros

Seamless is an intersting company. I see a lot of people on here complaining about certain things I never encountered (being pressured to leave glassdoor reviews, buying the CEO's book, etc.) Not to say they didn't happen ever, it just didn't happen to me when i was hired. Remote is great. The people there are great. Direct managers really want to see you succeed and are willing to help you every step of the way. Higher ups... we'll get to that. The people are super chill, just fun to be around and like to talk (typical of a sales role). The base pay is pretty good, but people pretty much never hit quota so OTE is kinda moot. It's a good product and a good industry fit.

Cons

Where do I begin... I decided to give it 1 star because whenever I see tons of reviews of people saying there were no cons. I am sure they are fake, so I wanted to even it out (I'd give it 3 stars) I once heard a higher up say that they wouldn't change quota because it would change the OTE, but if nobody is hitting quota isn't it time to rethink that? The quota is a huge problem. Nobody hits it, except a select few who are REALLY good SDR's. They are always hiring because of how often they fire people (it's about 10-15 new SDR's per month) Having to sit in a google meet all day really sucks. I was told when I was hired that there were 2 90 minute increments where you could leave the google meet, which wasn't true. The one time I did it I got a slack message asking where I went 15 minutes after I left. The tech stack sucks, hard. They continually change the rules regarding meetings because they are scrambling to make things work when they clearly don't. Upper management is super money hungry, they really don't care about the people. I knew when I got hired that Seamless wasn't a great company but I figured a bad job was better then no job. I'm rethinking that now because of how depressed I was since starting seamless. I was kind of amazed when I got fired because I realized all the stress, anxiety, and depression was gone.

Pros

Remote work is nice, generally most the people that work there are good people with management being the exception

Cons

First and foremost please be advised a majority of these positive reviews are either fake or manufactured by pressuring new hires to leave a 5 star review, the upper management is incredibly lack luster managers will be laying in bed or walking / jogging on a treadmill whilst micromanaging you and come off incredibly unprofessional. Additionally the pay is incredibly low and only suitable for people without any experience whatsoever, generally speaking most people know and plan to only stay at the company for around 3 months, hence why every other week 10 new SDRs are hired to combat the incredibly high turnover. Lastly, the CEO is one of the most egotistical people ive ever come across he is more worried about pushing his own books and personal work than the betterment of the company. In fact during onboarding one of your required tasks is to buy and read his book, extremely cult like behavior.
