If you're looking to advance your career and be happy in what you do, SecurityScorecard is the place to be. Great management and leadership from the CEO all the way down to the managers. Everyone has the opportunity to innovative and work on cutting edge initiatives across every department. Awesome work/life balance and benefits. Frequent team events such as skiing, karaoke, happy hours, trivia nights, "Hackathons", and much more. Once a week there are company-wide events providing education on the security industry and other business topics. The company is growing extremely fast and anyone who joins will be in for a fun ride!

Cons

As a rapidly growing and successful company, goals and strategies evolve at a fast rate. Individuals not used to moving extremely fast in a constantly changing environment may not fit well.

An incredibly talented team...very gifted individuals driving the company forward. There is a clear sense of purpose and direction that is valued on every level. Lots of collaboration, events, sense of ownership from what looks like all teams. Benefits are great, the little perks rock (flex schedule, full kitchen, office happy hours, etc). Its become clear since starting at SSC that this company is going somewhere special, and quickly...

Cons

Physical space is getting tight but a new office will fix that. Everything is urgent/time sensitive...though that is what takes for a start-up to be great. Lots to do, might not be the place for anyone who isn't ready to hit the ground running.

The product is truly innovative, and working here in the New York office in any capacity, whether it's R&D, UI, Back-end, or Sales, puts you at the bleeding edge of what's possible. If you take pride in solving difficult problems, this is the company for you.

Cons

- Company culture is still developing, though this is the perfect time to join and help shape it. - We could do a better job of forming a community: other start-ups seem much more eager to host / throw events, and reward hard work in the little ways that count.
