      Pros

      The group of people I work with, the ability to choose the days you want to work. Sad I cannot honestly come up with anything else positive at this facility.

      Cons

      Nurse to patient ratio without concern re: Acuity, Never being heard by CEO/DON, stress for all employees who work at Select. Nurses pushed to the limit ,revolving door of new hires, always short of staff,but can always take more admits regardless of staffing. Anything goes wrong....always the nurse. HR at facility worthless to staff.

      Pros

      -Good "launching pad" job -High turnover results in more opportunities at higher levels -Business-wide, the company is expanding

      Cons

      -Environment at the help desk is AWFUL. Being off the phones for any given amount of time is frowned upon. -Zero appreciation from management for the hard work put in. -High stress environment, no rest in the 8 hours that you're there. -Even after promotion, pay is not worth the stress and workload. -Constantly short-staffed, everyone has to pick up slack for lack of help.

      Pros

      I liked my co-workers and to some extent it was flexible.

      Cons

      Business was very slow and expectations were unrealistic. No one listened to us no matter how many times we made suggestions on ways to improve things it was always business as usual. Local CEO and HR were unprofessional and upper management is not minding the store. Local CEO was cheap with raises and low balled new employees. People got fired a lot.
