Pros

Work from home, they supply equipment

Cons

Multiple pitch sales, treated like trasha and cussed out by clients daily and you have to take it the mental and emotional abuse, and if you're a woman sexual harassment

Pros

Great initial training-yea you will have mock calls with new people and cold call people to practise but honestly I had fun and after 3 weeks I was nervous still but felt more relaxed REMOTE- They send you returning you need computer wise, most senior agents have personal mouses and screens we use , but the ones they send you are very nice. Hours- with my kids I love the m-f 8-5 standard shifts so I can plan around my weekends(excluding hell week-aep) Advancement- promoting from within is active and managers encourage there agents to work hard and provide resources to do so Managers- honesty after 3 years and 6 managers I don't think I have had a single bad manager. All were knowledgable and kind, honestly they will fight for you if you try. I could list more I'll end it here for now

Cons

Atleast for my inital training we started with the expectation of being trained before aep but ended up being rushed at the end and thrown into calls to not miss out on the call experince, I know that's mostly fixed now thankfully Here it comes-long hour during aep but have to give to take. Honestly our employee insurance is expensive Lunch times can be random due to time zones and call expectations, being on the west cost my lunch was scheduled for 3:30-4:30 and I get off at 6 lol had to have it changes this year but this is not first time being on the west coast has screwed me out of a decent lunch time

Pros

Got to work remote. That’s about it.

Cons

Population Health division is like working at a daycare run by toddlers. As a licensed insurance agent, I was sold on great pay, benefits, commissions and bonuses. Training was like death by fire. There was no choice which shift you get. Saturdays are mandatory during OEP. Benefits package was totally unaffordable at any rate of pay. If you are a licensed producer, you have to wait six months before you can attempt to get a producer role. The “leads” were brought over from Medicare plan recipients and most were so angry by the time they got to me and other callers were spamed into calling in. Played stupid games in the chat all day for a $1. Commission structure was a joke. The first thing you see when you start your shift is, “we have the right to cut the bottom 20% of agents who aren’t producing”. Not a pleasant way to start your day. You might make $60K a year if you have ice running through your veins and want to be emotionally drained at the end of your shift Don’t leave your good job for this role!!
