Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. I’m not sure what position you held or department you worked in, so it’s difficult for me to address your concerns and possible missed opportunities. But please know we offer all our associates professional development training and opportunities so they have the tools to advance in their careers—whether in their current department or a different one. Good Perks, but demanding - Remote employees

Pros

Sentry has some good perks, and they've recently put a lot of money into rebranding and providing more services at the home office in WI. Which they need because that building was stuck in the 70s. Average health and life benefits. 401k match 6%. Remote employees get company car, and some expenses paid for

Cons

- Remote employees like Sales Account Managers and Safety Consultants don't get to take advantage of the resources at the home office in WI. -Lots of travel required for remote positions for sales, and even more for safety. You get a company car, and they use that as a selling point for the position. But you're always driving, and that takes away from customer service and reports. -You get old equipment like old dell laptops running windows 7. And old Oracle interfaces. These are slowly getting updated, but its hard to be efficient from a home office with that equipment. -The home office will push out new procedures or requirements and not tell the remote employees. Then remote employees get in trouble for not doing them, or doing them wrong. -Very poor work life balance for remote employees. And they try to tell you that you cant get a job that pays this good, and lets you work from home. -Limited job growth unless you want to take a job in the home office. But you're either on the road, or stressing over your reports, and always bringing work home. There are other similar jobs that have better balance

We appreciate your feedback. We’re consistently working to remain a competitive employer, so I’m happy to hear you enjoyed the benefits we offer our associates. I’m sorry about the challenges you encountered while working remotely. While we understand there are some resources we can’t offer our remote associates, we do our best to offer other incentives and resources, like a company vehicle, for example. Training and professional development are very important to us and we’re currently working to improve our training processes and offerings. Thank you again for your comments.
