Pros

Not many. This company is terrible. They have video cameras throughout the whole clinic and they use what you say against you. YOU DO NOT WANT TO WORK HERE. YOU DONT WANT THIS ANXIETY. READ THE REVIEWS. THEY ARE PAYING PEOPLE TO SAY GOOD THINGS BECAUSE NO ONE WILL OTHERWISE.

Cons

Weird vibes Controlling Managment Video cameras in every room that grade your interactions Good luck getting a day off No flexibility Training is Terrible Feels like a cult No promotions, even if metrics are hit no one tells you what they are.

Pros

Benefits were great - loved my coworkers

Cons

Upper management, ownership, hostile environment. I was always scared to get yelled at our put down. Not a lot of positivity about anyone or anything. They will do it in front of everyone too. I was scared to ever be sick or have an emergency and forget going on vacation if they didn’t want you to.

Pros

This job is great if you: are white mormon a man have little to no moral compass are satisfied by a pseudo-humane company mission and culture hate job security love burning yourself out for less than a livable wage

Cons

Honestly, the reviews on glassdoor alone should be enough to deter anyone from working at Serenity. Seriously, take note that nearly every review above three stars is from a current employee (which people were incentivized to do). I have never seen such a dramatically toxic place to work. The amount of co-workers I worked alongside who experienced burnout as a direct result of poor management, training, pay, and turnover was disheartening. The turnover rate was embarrassingly high from entry-level employees all the way to senior level executives. The Patient Care Coordinator(PCC) role is the backbone of this business and it simultaneously receives the least amount of training, pay, and support of every position at the company. It seems as though the executive team attempts to coast on a faulty, profit-over-people-driven management model for as long as humanly possible until operations plummet so fast that a company-wide intervention is needed. In which case, this is directly blamed on the lowest-paid employees who, with the quality of training they received, effectively have no real influence over. I watched this happen in the summer of this year, witnessing half of the PCC team, leads, managers, and executives either resign or be fired via a phone call after working hours. The claims of nepotism, racism, and sexism are all true, but everyone in a position of power will disagree with this sentiment because they "don't see color/gender/etc." When the CEO Benjamin Pease was around, he was either tucked away in his office yelling (like, pathetic, narcissistic top-of-the-lungs yelling at his most loyal employees) he was sweeping the office in search of young women to inquire about their romantic lives or, yes, confronting a group of black employees about whether all lives mattered or not. I saw Ben Pease bully his employees, especially the ones he had never spoken a word to, on countless occasions. Lest we forget about the time he screamed at an executive for over an hour about how the waterfall in his office wasn't working. As if it were his responsibility? As if these waterfalls weren't broken over half the time across all locations? What was it that Albert Einstein said about insanity? I'm sorry you didn't have the peaceful rippling sounds of falling water to mask the sound of your yelling. I have never seen so many people in one place be forced to come to terms with their own moral ground in an environment that claims to be a supportive workplace which fosters growth and individual betterment. Nothing could be further from the truth. I saw the decline of once loyal, 110% employees slowly break down at the whims of the ethical dilemma Serenity places all of its employees in. The turnover speaks volumes. Why have 11 company values when you can't seem to embody a single one? Do you understand that company culture is more than dropping thousands on ikea furniture to furnish a hip break room that you put cookies and chick-fil-a in once every couple of weeks?
