Pros

You get to work with people that have brain injuries

Cons

They show favoritism to employees Some can make a med error and get by with it While others get written up or fired over it, Let employees that walk off the job come back to work their, going to management or higher staff does not good! They dont care if you get hurt, give people managements jobs that aren't qualified for the job!

Pros

You are working with persons who have Acquired Brain Injuries (ABI), which is rewarding, as you help each (those who are "help-able") relearn skills they had before the brain injury. It takes patience sometimes, but overall, you can see the progress in some of them. Very rewarding to be someone who brought others back to their normal lives after they had suffered horrible life-changing circumstances.

Cons

Too much paperwork to do each day, for no particular reason; they do not warn you upon agreeing to the job that the physical requirements are excessive (lifting 50+ pounds, which is not usually an issue, but when it causes an injury to you as an employee, they will not accept responsibility -- they will say that it was a "pre-existing injury," even though you had been doing your job just fine, until that day of the injury). "Let's avoid liability, at all costs, even if it costs someone his/her job," is the company philosophy.

Pros

Work with caring people who really want to help others.

Cons

Company took over the small company i was working for. As it became more and more NueroRestortive, it began to feel more like a healthcare business and less like a place that was there to really help the people in the program. It started to turn into a place that was all about policy. Which made management become less supportive of their staff and more supportive of the company. It lost the team player, team building feel and began to have a more corporate atmosphere. They dangle the prospects of a promotion, but make it very hard to advance. Pay and benefits low. They claim they have tuition reimbursement, but they do not. It is a scholarship given to a few people that hardly covers the cost of books. I loved the people I worked with and I loved the job. Did not like the company.
