Pros

Good support from direct supervisor. Mentor does provide a great service to the disabled community and it is enjoyable to work with many of the clients.

Cons

Poor compensation. I was a program director and could never find on-call employees to work in my group home so I had to fill in their shifts. Several times I worked 20 hour days and consistently had no days off one time working 7 weeks in a row with 11 and 12 hour days. Health insurance was very reasonable but not great coverage. They expect a great deal from their employees at all levels with poor wages.

Pros

Clients are wonderful. I love to visit with the and see how their day is going. They are always happy and the mentors they live with are very welcoming.

Cons

Never get paid on time. Still have not been paid for the month of June and have already finished my hours for the month of July. No one can get a hold of corporate. The admin can only email corporate with questions or concerns. There is no phone number to call when a complaint needs to be made. Company has a serious lack of communication.
