Great mission and value add to community

Sevita has been bought and sold so many times that the value of the product falls short of the cost of the company to the investor. As a result, investors find the company needs to be fixed and pushes new leaders who will make major changes without fully understanding the impact. From inside, it looks like another fire drill, which often has very little to do with the product provided and has much more to do with the new CEOs putting their unique stamp on a company after having only one or two months in the role. Good programs are stopped, worthless exercises are demanded and good people are let go because their knowledge and experience intimidates the new CEOs.

Coworkers and individuals I cared for made it bearable

Cons

Everything- crazy amount of work expected with no one willing to help both in work load and amount of hours expected, minimal raises in over 3 years, no ability to keep a work life balance, management is petty and cliquey so if you don’t get along with one of them they’ll intentionally make sure you don’t last. Office complained about gossip but were the worst at it. Office constantly did shady things including “fixing” violations in shady ways.

Lacking responsive direction, supervision and accountability. Not a welcoming environment. Lacks integrity to uphold values of best practices, empathy and compassion.
