Pros

DON'T DO IT! !!!! You are not appreciated, treated like dirt, worst agency. Don't you read the reviews? RUN AS FAST as possible. It's a swinging door, nobody stays. Nepotism, racism, abusive behavior by Management and employees, get out while you can. No raises should have been your first sign you will never be valued.

Cons

Everything! Read my pro version review. You will ruin your career and mental health.

Pros

I was promised that as a part time employee that my hours would be flexible to meet both the needs of the agency and my family. I was horribly, grossly mislead

Cons

IL Mentor hires nursing staff on a part time person who is eligible for every thing with the exception of insurance. I quickly learned that this job was not flexible nor was I eligible for anything as far as benefits. When I was hired, I was told I would work 30 or more hours a week, however later was told the hours would be 10 to 15 hours a week. HOWEVER, I was expected to carry an on-call phone 24/7 and be available at any time day or night if needed without compensation.

Loved the clients

Pros

Loved the clients, but they don't have the time to give each one or do they get to go where they need and want to go. Hours are good if you like working anytime of the day.

Cons

Starting pay is the only pay, you don't get a raise. Constantly called to fill in hours as they are so short staffed. They do not do drug tests on employees and this can be a hinderrence to finding good staff.
