      Pros

      Great company for work life balance, and this company invest in you. They really help you grow! Job security was a benifit as well. They don't really fire people. Even if they want to fire you, they generally will not if you make a big enough protest.

      Cons

      They cover their path to advancment in a coat of meritcracy, but in reality they promote based on nepotism.

      20 Year Anniversary

      Pros

      I have just celebrated my 20th Anniversary with Shaw Industries. In my time with the organization I have found that Shaw values thier people, they invest in our development and provide growth opportunities. It is a large organization but the culture is more like a small family business. It's a great place to work

      Cons

      Slow to change with limited growth opportunities in current role.

      Well, all I can say is that this place at least provides a paycheck.

      Cons

      Promotions based on who you know, and very poor health insurance. Management focusing too much time on numbers.
