      Pros

      People, mobility within the company Can move up in the company really fast. Plants are located close to each other, so families do not constantly move around.

      Cons

      No cutting edge work. R&D is limited to latest fashion trends and not necessarily engineering aspects. Carpet is not necessarily a glamorous field.

      Flexible schedule Upper management is very accessible and approachable. Birkshire Hathaway Co (financial backing)

      Cons

      Poor Regional Management Low compensation compared to direct competitors Not an innovative company. "Stuck" in their dated ways of thinking. Majority of employees are "senior". Do not hire many or enough young people.
