They work around your schedule and give you hours that you'd be satisfied with. You can cash your paycheck at he service desk and go grocery shopping after shifts. Pay

Cons

They will move you to different departments such as checkout to bag and do carts. Pushing carts will make you lose faith in humanity at larger stores owned by this company. No free lunch and lunch meals at la carte aren't cheap. Slightly lower pay than other local employers.

You received a raise every year, discount on Shaw's brand grocery items, flexible scheduling (most of the time)

Cons

Not a hugely busy store depending on your location (i.e. if there are nearby competitors) so it can be super slow and mind numbing, your scanning speed is valued more than your positive interactions with customers
