Cons

Pros

You can get decent benifits from the union, such as health insurance, dental, and vacation time. You also can get a discount on own brand products.

Cons

The pay level is unfair, people with a couple of years make nearly as much as the employees ten plus years with the company. Employees are also not aloud to talk with each other. The manager of this store is a bafoon with a Napolean Complex. The managment never takes any ideas from their employees. It is my belief that the company is purposly trying to go under, I can't figure out why, but it seems that way. For example despite more competition and a bad economy they keep raising their prices. No one wants to work hard their because the way the manager treats everyone.

Pros

-Gain some experience with the general public and communications with the public -Gain some experience working with a team -Depending on performance, a good thing to put on a resume -Experience with handling money

Cons

-Sporadic and random hours -low pay for services rendered -Unresponsive and unsupportive management and co-workers -No real room for personal improvement or advancement within the ranks -Lackluster reviews of performance, copy and paste type stuff, no advice or constructive criticism given, they treat the review process as a joke. -Outdated training process causes many problems on the sales floor -Generally speaking, they treat their employees as commodities, not people.
