      Pros

      Willing to promote from within; many employees have worked there in various capacities for 10+ years. Good use of cross-functional teams to solve problems and bring forward fresh ideas.

      Cons

      Pay is competitive for new hires but falls behind for those who stay, unless there is a competitive threat presented. Smaller size affords less promotion opportunities than at larger companies. Generally good communication throughout organization.
