Stable and Conservative Company

Pros

Very stable company with a strong financial standing. The company truly cares for their employees and pays for continuing education courses. The profit sharing is amazing and if you are willing to relocate than advancement is likely.

Cons

At times they are too conservative and are lagging with technologies. Is a fairly large company but employs "Good Ol' Boy" policies which makes it next to impossible to be promoted in the home office territory. Pay is lower than competitors but employees feel hooked when they see their profit sharing grow. The continuing education industry courses require uncompensated at-home study time that's eats into home life (this perhaps may be common within the insurance industry).

Cafeteria, cubicle with two monitors, cool manager, coffee, soda and snack vending machines on eveey floor, get to listen to music with headphones in while I work, fun and smart people.

Cons

Haven't found anything bad so far. I get to listen to music while I work all day and I talk to my manager daily.
