      Overworked, long hours and upper management seems to not listen to the field employees.

      Great flexibility, nice people to be around

      The people running the company are very out of touch with what agents are dealing with nowadays. In such a competitive environment, why would you keep making it harder tor agents to make money. If I didn't know we sold auto insurnace, I would think we were a life insurance company only. That's literally the only thing we ever hear about. And now the icing on the cake, they made it harder for agents to make bonuses. Shelter agents make way less money than any of the big insurance companies, yet now they hurt our pay with ridiculous life insurance e changes. It makes more sense to go be an independent agent where u can just forget about life insurance and focus on growth. They just alienated half their agents, good luck finding more quality people.
