Pros

lots of opportunities to move around, get experience, many different programs. large company so not going anywhere. if you're noticed as being good, you'll move up. i received multiple rapid promotions.

Cons

if you're not noticed as being good, you won't move up or it can be very difficult. can be very cliquey. does not show appreciation for mainline/direct care employees or even middle managers. upper management has new phones, new offices, etc while program staff are making very little money and working with old equipment.

Pros

You get to work with the patients with no medical background. Great benefits, and you do get tuition assistance. When working with the patients when there sick, you get to watch them get better. Then you know you had a part in helping them, its gratifying.

Cons

Some staff do nothing!! Then when you do your work, they get mad at you and try to make you look bad. Some workers have no psych background, so they don't know what there doing. The patients can accuse you of doing something bad, and staff believes them. Regular hospital gossip, so watch what you say. No room for advancement, and a big turnover.

Co-workers are amazing and generally care about the patients well being.

Cons

Management is horrible to its employees. They tend to bully employees into working extra hours without concern of their well being.
