Pros

Upper level leadership appears to be moving in a strong direction regarding management. Multiple opportunities to cross train in IT.

Cons

Employee retention is extremely low. Very high turnover rate. IT pay is below industry standard, IT is also extremely overworked. 1 tech to approx 350-400 staff.

We’re glad to hear that you see leadership moving in a positive direction. We also hear the concerns you’ve raised about employee retention, pay, and workload in the IT department. We’re actively working on initiatives to enhance career growth, engagement, and overall job satisfaction, including expanding internal training opportunities, creating clear career pathways for every department, assessing staffing needs, and exploring ways to better distribute workloads. We regularly review our compensation to ensure it remains competitive within the healthcare industry. Thank you for your insights!
