Pros

Shift Paradigm excels in fostering a culture of innovation. Their approach to digital marketing strategies is not only modern but also highly effective, as seen in work I've done for Fortune 100 and Fortune 500 and large PE firms]. The leadership team is commendable for their open communication and support, which significantly enhances the work environment.

Cons

An area for improvement is project management tools and SaaS. Implementing more advanced tools or processes could streamline operations and enhance efficiency. This adjustment could align them more closely with industry leaders, if it's good for our clients it should be budgeted for ourselves.

Pros

Remote worker phone reimbursement, wellness stipend.

Cons

No bonuses, raises, and constant scrutiny of hours and billable targets. Layoffs every few months. No accountability from exec leadership. If you’re higher level and try to speak up and speak for your team, you will be targeted and discriminated against.

Pros

The ability to work remotely changed my life, my average commute prior to joining SP was 4 hours a day. The ability to move my family to a more affordable area but keep the salary I earned has allowed for a safer, more enjoyable experience for my family. Along with remote work benefits, the health coverage is affordable to the employee and able to be used among a broad list of health providers. Another benefit I've taken full advantage of is the company expensed professional certifications. Since joining SP I have been able to study for certifications that fit my role and experience, take the exams, and expense the costs of all 6 certifications I've attained. Additionally, whenever there has been gaps in processes or any issues at all regarding work policies or other employees, I've had a very supportive manager that has had my back every time. I feel supported at SP and have seen positive changes month to month, quarter to quarter, year to year in the early days of the company's existence.

Cons

Layoffs are never pretty, and never go over easy. But in the cases I've seen I believe there is an employee first approach that tries desperately to avoid layoffs. The careful balance of billable hours to available workforce is a moving target for all consultant based companies and I believe SP leadership has handled this well over the past 2 years. Unlike previous experiences at other companies, it's not always the ground level employee hitting the chopping block, executive leadership has been held accountable as well.
