Pros

-Friendly, collaborative, supportive work environment -Flexible work hours, unlimited vacation (within reason) -Ability to work from home when needed -Focus on continuous education and growth for employees -Opportunities for upward mobility -Open communication between teams and co-workers no matter what "level" you're at, no office politics -Solid benefits package: gym membership, 401(k) program, etc.

Cons

-Working with a variety of clients in different time zones sometimes means unusual work hours -Austin office is located in Bee Cave, so it is a little bit of a drive

Pros

This is a great company for anyone who wants to be a part of a cohesive team that works together to accomplish one goal. In this company, I do not feel micromanaged, there is room for career growth and opportunities, and the environment is very friendly and comfortable. I feel very valued and heard at this company, and we are always rewarded for any extra hard work (or extra hours) that we put in. We are encouraged to take ownership of our projects, and our ideas are always taken into consideration.

Cons

There are some clients that are located in the pacific time zone and most of the employees are in CST or EST. Their end of day is actually 7pm CST, so there are times when people in the Chicago/Austin/Remote offices have to work late because of this time difference.

Pros

-Teams work very well together as a whole but also as individual groups. There is continual development in process efficiency throughout teams so that working together only gets smoother as we learn and grow. -The company environment is friendly, welcoming, and accepting -The management cares about individual career growth and opportunity and are proactive in providing development opportunities -The Austin office in particular feels like working with family. We have a lot of fun, support each other, and support our community while still producing awesome work -Because email is online, our work is flexible and can be done from home or remotely (but it's more fun to be in the office)

Cons

-Depending on where you're coming from, the commute can be painful. Because Austin. -Working late or coming in early is occasionally required in order to keep on top of workload, especially since we have clients across the time zones -Sometimes, it's really stressful picking a dish to bring for our quarterly potlucks in the Austin office

Howdy, Thanks for your review and kind words about Trendline. I think if we were able to invent/invest in a thing that is able to transport people instantly from their home to the office in Austin, we would totally do it. This is especially true if you chose to bring a hot dish for the potluck. Austin traffic does blow and while we can't do too much about it, we do appreciate you taking the time to write about us. Always know that there is an open door policy so feel free to keep the comments and suggestions coming.. Andrew Kordek Co-Founder and Chief Something.
