Pros

I’ve never experienced a better company culture than with ShiftSmart. They are driven by their company ideals and a vision for success, not just with higher-ups, but with normal coworkers as well. Overall, it makes me feel hopeful for the future of the company, and I’m glad to say I have been able to experience that. The support is overwhelming, and praise is never hard to find.

Cons

Startups always have a few hiccups here and there, especially when dealing with more technical issues. That’s to be expected, but issues are still taken care of in reasonable time periods. I don’t think I could really call anything much of a “con” here.

- Lots of ownership given to those who want it directly from the CEO - Rapidly expanding client base providing broad learning experience opportunities across industries and functions - Passionate team that wants to deliver the mission of empowering its worker community to earn a living via the Shiftsmart platform - Belief that best idea wins in team environment without any concern who it comes from

Cons

- Data driven and fact based decision making can be intimidating for those who haven’t been exposed to it before - Fast growing team can mean roles are shifting more frequently than a large corporation

Cons

Work culture is not ideal - for example, the CEO repeatedly calls a Chinese employee Korean. The CEO thinks he’s being funny, when in reality, he’s being culturally insensitive and ignorant.
