I wanted to share my experience at Sidetrade as a Business Development Representative, and I must say, it was a very disheartening one. I felt like everything was just a lot of empty promises, and there was no way to get promoted within the company. The metrics were unrealistic, and I was well below compensated for Enterprise sales. Additionally, there was no clarity or transparency in the commission structure, and sales can be taken away from you for no fair reason at all. Sidetrade made me feel worthless and insignificant like I have never experienced in a job place. One thing that particularly stood out was the fact that the company can put you in a PIP (Performance Improvement Plan) only three months after starting, which is just one month after the initial training. It was evident that they wanted me to fail, and they didn't care if I left. I would advise anyone considering a job at Sidetrade to read all the negative reviews beforehand. If you're in sales, there are plenty of other places that will treat you with respect and compensate you fairly. It is essential to have a clear understanding of the company culture and what to expect before accepting a job offer. Overall, my experience at Sidetrade was a demotivating one, and I hope that the company can take steps to address the issues and create a more positive work environment for its employees.
