      The work can be cutting edge and very interesting

      Cons

      As with most contractors, appearances to the client trump quality and scientific soundness. Thus Sig Sci does not stand up for their employees in instances of misunderstanding, client miscommunication, or incorrect client perceptions. So, it's basically keep your head down, work like a dog, and if the client says to spin around 5 times and jump like a frog each time you perform an experiment, you don't question why you just do it. Plus, as others have said, there are cliques and the kiss up factor is pretty strong.

      Pros

      Quiet place sometimes, health insurance is OK.

      Cons

      Old technology...but really, old. Lack of leadership People that are in management have only worked in this place their entire life so they lack real world experience or leadership.
