Pros

Training and coaching of a trade, tools and work environment are in good shape. Good training processes and room for advancement under the right management.

Cons

Mandatory overtime has become out of control. No work life balance. Shops are open retail hours even though there is no need for late closing. Bonuses have gone down. Incentives are being taken away while goals are raised. Overall they are taking a lot more than they are willing to give.

It's a cult

Pros

The cafeteria has good food.

Cons

The culture here is that of a big brother cult. You will be judged on every aspect of your appearance, down to the pace you walk through the building. Employees that work in the vault/distribution center are treated like second class citizens. There is systemic sexual harassment at the jewelry stores across the United States. The Sourcing department is a disaster. Sourcing managers are completely inexperienced and project their insecurities onto the team and then blame them for it. The Sourcing department had near 100% turn over in 2018-2019. Skill and merit is not rewarded, only brown nosing. Pay is bad, benefits are worse. No 401k in the first year of employment because they know turn over is high. You will frequently see employees leaving at the end of the day in tears. They had no foresight to adapt to modern day e-commerce and had no ability to buy jewelery online until 2020. They paid the price for this. Believe all the negative press you see on Signet, it's all true.

Pros

It's a job, that's it.

Cons

Low pay. Stressful job. No consistent schedule. Work holidays and weekends. College reimbursement is a joke. Don't pay enough to use the employee discount
