Little communication between departments which leads to conflicting directive, not innovative, absolutely NO work/life balance, last minute assignments with super-tight deadlines. With recent scandals (Google it!) in upper management and lagging sales, morale is very low. In the Texas office, there is a constant threat of losing jobs to Akron, Ohio (where Signet is based). No one knows what's going on and everyone is in a panic. The whole HR department was laid off in Texas. You have to call an 800# to the Philippines to get answers on anything related to benefits or computers. They have ONE guy who takes care of everyone's computer issues on-site. Also, Wikipedia shows that Signet is headquartered in the Bahamas which alone is sketchy. It's my understanding that it was a truly a great place to work until Zales was bought out by Signet.
