You will have pretty much no life . Dont plan to have much family time. 4day on 4 days off. They will swap you days and nights. Change your crews , you will end up being forced working holidays with no compansation for it. But yet union guys get bonus for volunteering. You will be forced to work extra days beyond your 4 day work week and dont be surprised if you get scheduled on your vaction either. You will be incharge of being a purchasing agent for parts, and it will be your fault when there is no spare parts. even if you get denied permission to order. The training is a joke. You will be told to do monthly trainings and do safety trainings even when you were not properly trained before hand. The amount of safety violations in the place is unreal. Just google for local reports from fire and ambulance calls. The fake "book reports" you need to write are also a waste of time at the begining of the trainee process. They do not help and do not work on many levels .
