Pros
Decent pay, that's all I can say
Cons
Really enjoyed going in at first, then started dreading each day. Here's a hint as to why the high turnover rate from new employees : they are treated like crap by the employees that have been there forever. If those people don't like their job, retire, then we don't have to hear you complain! Instead, it's easier to talk crap and treat new people like imbicles and put them down every chance you get. Seems like everyone has an attitude, is angry or has chip on their shoulder. That's from " management" on down. " Kid" managers have no people skills and that shows. People skills are ingrained in a great manager and obvious-- not the case here. Any problem spoken to manager is ignored or twisted. They say silgan is a family company, but it seems like the most dysfunctional family you don't want to be a part of.
