      Very organized and methodical company. They were very good at setting out a strategy and sticking to it. Global leadership is excellent

      Cons

      Local president has a tough job, but often made promote/firing decisions based upon who he liked/didn't like.

      Quality work and dedication are recognized and rewarded. Excellent environment for learning diversity, and team dynamics. A great opportunity for entry level training. You are encouraged to learn and expand to your full potential.

      This is a company supplying a dwindling market. As technology progresses, this company dwindles. Lay offs, cut backs, plant shut downs, and pay rate freezes have plagued the company. Job security is not steady.

      > Misogynistic leadership that perpetuates sexist, toxic behavior > Expectations that you be available at all hours of the day (even though all other global Siltronic locations have set business hours) > Never forget that HR is not there to protect workers and their safety in the workplace, instead they are there to protect the company > Career advancement often involves limited support from leadership and intense and demanding customer work > Female workers are scrutinized more harshly than male workers > A/C is always on
