Pros

We do a good job for customers

Cons

Recently there have been some negative SimplePractice reviews on GlassDoor regarding employee and leadership diversity. Somehow someone managed to have those unflattering reviews taken down even after many employees read and agreed with them. The company does need to focus on diversity and hiring more women in leadership positions.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. Diversity and Inclusion are very important to us. We're proud to have recently hired two amazing VP's who are women, however, there's still more work to do. If you feel comfortable, I would encourage you to reach out directly to me or the Leadership team to share feedback around how we can continue to improve our diversity, inclusivity, and belonging initiatives.

Pros

good healthcare plans I guess

Cons

I would love to add screenshots of slack this week amidst the Israeli-Palestinian war. The CEO, yes, the CEO made sure to display his unwavering support for Israel, not even considering the pain muslims at the company are going through. Slack has been not regulated, with only pro-israel messages flooding the channels. I feel attacked, sad and isolated working here

Thank you for your honest feedback during this difficult time. As an organization that operates in a space centered on care and connection, our goal is to nurture an environment where everyone feels included. We urge all team members to lean into empathy and compassion with one another, especially when tragic events occur. As a current team member, we invite you to reach out to anyone in leadership or the People & Culture team to continue this conversation. We are here to listen and support you.

Pros

- most individual contributor level employees are smart and passionate

Cons

- leadership is intent on destroying the company - new leadership is unfocused. Has yet to articulate a real vision, chasing short term money with no long term plans - new leadership keeps adding mid level managers from their their previous mature companies, who aren’t a fit at a growth stage company - leadership and HR actively micromanage and demotivate users - below inflation raises even for top performers
