Pros

Exceptional team culture: The Barcelona office has an amazing vibe. You can genuinely feel the positive energy and camaraderie when you walk through the door. People actually enjoy working together here. Strong internal mobility: SiteMinder truly invests in developing internal talent. Career progression opportunities are real and the company actively promotes from within, which is refreshing in this industry. Collaborative environment: Teamwork isn't just a buzzword here - it's lived daily. Colleagues genuinely support each other and celebrate wins together. Industry leader: Working for the market leader in hotel tech gives you credibility and opens doors. It's the company everyone in the industry wants to work for, and that reputation is well-earned.

Cons

Siloed departments affecting MRR targets: Poor communication between departments (Product, Support, CS). Unrealistic MRR targets from HQ: Australian headquarters sets MRR targets without fully understanding local market conditions. What works in APAC doesn't necessarily translate to European markets. The pricing strategies and sales cycles are completely different, yet targets remain uniform across regions. Top-down decision making: Strategic decisions come from very high up with limited input from operational levels. This can lead to initiatives that look good on paper but are challenging to implement in practice.

Hello! Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. It is much appreciated! Great to hear such amazing positives. Especially love - Teamwork isn't just a buzzword here - it's lived daily. That's such an awesome statement:) On the cons and advice to management, looks like you have really well thought out feedback. We are certainly aligned on the need for great collbaoration between teams and something we promote strongly (also via or ways of working). Your thoughts on targets and regional nuances is definitley worth exploring and whereas I am not the expert here I do highly recommend that you discuss these points further with sales leadership. Seems like you have given it a lot of thought so please do share your thoughts internally and thanks again! Anna Kennedy, HRD EMEA
