FANTASTIC Opportunity

Pros

SiteMinder has provided me a great opportunity for growth while starting out my sales career. The people that I work with are amazing and always willing to help. The sales leadership team has gone above and beyond to make sure I am set up to be successful. They are open, transparent, and provide a great amount of feedback to make me better every day. This doesn't just stop with the leadership team. Every person in our office is always willing to help me and collaborate to make the company better.

Cons

Communication is something that I know we're working on currently. Prior to a few months ago, there were times that communication would get lost between our headquarters in Sydney and our office in Dallas. In the past 2 months this has gotten better and I am confident it will continue to improve.

Pros

I have worked at SiteMinder for less than a year and have seen tremendous growth and changes. The management team has always had my back and done everything to make sure I am successful. The commission plan was recently revised and most people are earning more every month. There is so much potential in this industry and SiteMinder has been a great place to learn and earn!

Cons

There are very few cons. If anything it would be to hear and see more from our Sydney based leadership team.

Pros

They have good benefits and beer on Friday at 4:30, although most people use it as excuse to leave early.

Cons

Full of cliques. I talk to everyone, sales executives, T&I, SDR, support ect. A lot of them feel that if they don't like you, your odds to move up are slim to none. I had some SDRs tell me that HR asked if they could write a review on SiteMinder because she was having difficulty recruiting. Sales executives tell me that they get their calls screened and used against them for "professional" development. Sales managers use their smoke breaks to speak badly of others (according to other sales executives). T&I comes up with so many great ideas and hardly get recognized. They also feel like it's extremely hard to move up do to the cliquish Enviroment they have. Support, is always there for long hours and never gets recognized. HR, is great until you speak up about situations and instead of looking into it they brush everything under the rug. Because it's a start up, a lot of people pretty much do everything to cover their own self so that they are not fired.
