      * Lots of cliques * Managers play favorites * Managers not well-trained about how to effectively manage others * Disconnect between various departments--more communication needed

      Had a nice summer job experience at a construction site

      Pros

      Good opportunities, got to experience construction projects hands on. Versatile tasks, but mostly learning from others. They took time in teaching me the job at first.

      Cons

      A little stiff working environment. The project manager didn't believe that I could actually do something / know my stuff, since I was a young girl at the time. Other staff was nicer.
