Pros

Technical opportunities abound in many areas.

Cons

Management driven by bottom line, not ethics toward employees nor the customers. Corner cutting routine part of getting ahead. Watch out for the bus!!!

Low pay for the labor workers

Pros

Consistent work flow, no worry of lay off, great holiday schedule(will be compensated double time on holidays worked)

Cons

If you work on the labor side of the company, you are highly under payed. Max 4% raises when you make less than $20/hour.......do the math. Can’t make a career there if you don’t have a degree.

Pros

A lot of time-consuming works but not that difficult. I don't need to be smart for those. So, no pressure for it.

Cons

Managing is not organized. Many low-level managers (they are not in manager title exactly. They will be managers in several years.) hire people and then they are busy with their own design works, no managing. So, the problem is that the new employees technically have several managers they work with, which is very inefficient and stressful. The hiring manager often doesn't know what the employee is working on since the employee is working on something other managers ask for.
