Pros

There is remote work option.

Cons

Leadership has absolutely no clue about their long-term plans. Layoffs keep happening every year. Lots of smoke and mirror situations to ensure you don't know the real deal or going-ons of the company.

Pros

Overall it's a good company. Good benefits and RSU. Has a good work life balance. Get work from home option.

Cons

There is no promotion on merit. It's all who you know. Plus depends on which department you're working at. Here lacks people of color and woman in leadership positions and diversity across the company - culture isn't the best sometimes, interpersonal relationships between employees and cross departmentally are not always great. Salary is low compared to others. Has protentional to be better if some higher management wanted it to be.

Thank you for your feedback and taking the time to share your appreciation for our benefits and offerings. Our amazing people are what make Smartsheet such a unique place to work and it’s always our aim to support employees as they continuously grow and thrive. Meaningful improvements towards deeper equity and inclusivity at all leadership levels do not happen overnight and we continue to take positive steps forward. Over the past two years we’ve increased representation of people of color and women within our leadership positions across the business and we continue to hold ourselves accountable as we focus on diversity in hiring and internal promotion. Creating a culture of belonging rooted in respect and opportunity for all is part of Smartsheet’s DNA, and we know that by hiring, promoting, and honoring diverse voices and experiences, we enable people to do and be their best. I am proud of the opportunities we offer to create cross-functional awareness, engagement, and to build trust. I hope you had the opportunity to participate in our Coffee Connect Program, which pairs employees who wouldn’t typically work together to build new relationships, or explore our Employee Resource Groups, which bring folks together based on shared characteristics, life experiences, and interests. Thank you again for your feedback. If you’d like to continue this discussion, please reach out to people@smartsheet.com. – Jolene Marshall, Chief Legal Officer and Interim Head of P&C
