Pros

Product is great, flexible working, some good people

Cons

Pay and stock compnsation have been cut significantly, so long-term benfits are lacking. Uncertainty about the company's future next FY adds a lot of risk. Most people aren’t hitting quota, even with restructures The company doesn’t really uphold its values and feels like a typical corporate enviroment lacking strong leadership. Great managers are rare

Nice people, poor process

Pros

People are nice and I made some good connections there. I learned a lot and got some good customer experience. If you like big company and corporate culture, it maybe a good place for you.

Cons

Politics! If you want to progress, you need to be visible and sell yourself. Process changes all the time and are not up for debate. They will not listen for feedback, and when they realise no one is following the new process, instead of asking why, they add it to your target so that it looks like it picking up. There was a lot of micro-management, they kept saying that they only wanted to help us, it certainly felt otherwise.

Pros

- Product provides great solutions for businesses - Abundance of resources, great logos on board with great case studies for support - Great employee benefits - Nice team culture

Cons

- Product is complex and takes at least 12 months to get your head around everything. The abundance of resources can sometimes be overwhelming without proper guidance on what is a "need to know" vs. a "nice to know". - Aggressive sales targets with average quota attainment(check Repvue website for the most updated data. As of July 2023, Repvue is reporting 48% quota attainment). As a result, there's a big push on increasing sales performance which can be very stressful and tolling on your mental health - Being someone who's worked both within the New Business team and the Expansion team, avoid new business as it is much harder to generate revenue. Expansion is an easier sell and more enjoyable. - Management can be out of touch. You need to know how to manage upwards.
