Pros

Great benefits. Great company culture. Management is very opening and communicative. Management listens to you if you speak up.

Cons

The only con I see is that it feels difficult to get noticed for opportunities to advance. There isn't communication on what positions are available to get promoted into.

Smartsheet Response

Thank you for providing feedback, and for your compliments on our product. We strive for a team that is aligned and cohesive across all functions. This is a constant effort, especially when have been growing headcount at 60% year over year with lower than average employee attrition (even in sales). Yes, we have had some pricing and strategy changes as our offerings have grown, and we have high expectations that our sales team will understand these changes and provide great service to our customers. Yes, we continue to hire in sales -- with a total addressable market of over $15B, we have a lot of work and growth ahead of us. The Smartsheet sales team made their quota last year, and the year before, and is going strong. We have some reps who are over-achieving and others who are not making quota. So, while we are admittedly growing, adapting and evolving, we have many successful sales reps. We certainly agree that exit interviews are important, and our HR team conducts them. And the data collected is shared, as appropriate. Some people have refused or ignored exit interview requests. Again, we appreciate you taking the time to respond. We wish you all the best in your sales career. Mark Mader, CEO

Passionate People and a Powerful Company

Pros

• The passion and drive displayed by the leadership team rolls downhill -- the company has done a great job building a team that isn't just at the office day in and day out to cash a paycheck • Good benefits and office atmosphere -- this continues to improve as the company grows • Executive team is actively interested in the perspective of every employee from the top down • Ample opportunity to prove your worth if you're willing to put in the work

Cons

• Bagel Fridays is only one day a week • Work-life balance is entirely set by the individual. This isn't necessarily a con, but you can definitely get absorbed into your work and you need to be willing to take a step back when time allows it
