There is no real culture and very few company wide cultural initiatives or events. Leadership seem uninterested in building an identity or community for the employees so unless you have worked there a long time there isn't much of a sense of belonging. Managers and directors aren't encouraged yo try things differently and instead to simply do things "the Smartsheet way" which unfortunately isn't always the best way. Things only seem to change as a knee jerk reaction to poor results (instead of addressing the problem before it affected performance or moral). Departments with poor leadership are also sometimes siloed and don't communicate well. Work life balance is also not great, with expectations that people should work outside of office hours at a moments notice. Also some senior directors value reactive over proactive behaviors, with more emphasis on the speed of a response rather than the quality of the solution offered.
