I’m happy to hear our culture of working in progress resonates with you and that Smartsheet has been a place where you’ve been able to grow your career. Our compensation philosophy is focused on providing competitive programs that attract, retain, and reward high-performing employees. We regularly evaluate our structures and programs to ensure we are competitive with the market. The unique challenges of 2020 gave us the opportunity to reimagine our performance management and review process to better serve our employees and managers. We have evolved our annual reviews into quarterly priority conversations. We also built a bridge through the start of the fiscal year (February), with a flat increase for all employees heading into our new compensation focal in November (Q3), when our merit adjustments will occur on the new cadence.
