Positive changes underway, but not a fun environment

There is a general sense that the company is starting the right its course and beginning to develop some meaningful change into the product again.

Cons

Be under no illusions that this company is being ran how you would expect any private equity company to be run, and it is not fun.

Smart, caring colleagues but leadership is out of touch

Pros

Lots of really smart, caring people. Customers love the software even with the pricing and product blunders over the past 2-3 years.

Cons

PE ownership and a drive toward an uncommon goal - EEs do not receive stock rewards. C-suite is out of touch by design. Real company goals are not clearly communicated with knowledge workers - just share the Vista SOPs so that we know what's coming. Critical thinking is viewed as dissent.
