Pros

There are really wonderful people that work here.The day to day interactions with co-workers was what made this job acceptable. The work is interesting, if you can get on to the right project.

Cons

There is rhetoric that you will be working on interesting projects and pushing the boundaries of art and technologies, but it isn't true. Smashing Ideas is very good at producing mediocre content. The upper management is inflexible in their ideas and don't allow time to be innovative.

Pros

Great culture, great people, fun projects, good work/life balance. Smashing Ideas is a very collaborative environment. I really enjoy the way that project teams interact.

Cons

Management is risk averse in a lot of ways. Sometimes it feels as though there is not a a strong commitment to future goals for the company.
