Not a Bay Area Culture

Pros

It was a good start company in the Bay Area, easy to get into, but there is no growth from here.

Cons

Since the acquisition by District Snapfish is definitely feeling less and less like a Bay Area company, no perks, no meals, all work, no fun. In terms of day-to-day business, very outdated processes and lack of organization.

Do your career a favor and avoid this place

Pros

The average "worker" there is friendly and smart, unfortunately, they are likely looking for another job or have given up trying to do their job due to all the obstacles put up by top managers. You will get paid for your work, that is about the only "pro." If you have any sort of intellect, you will need to check it at the door in order to obtain the pay check. But, if you thrive in an environment steeped in politics with no HR oversight, it might be your kind of place. Be very weary if you hear about the great changes about to take place. Leadership is excited because they are doing things that may have been considered cool a decade ago--and the sad part is they honestly think that is what is going to "save" the business (they simply don't have the skill set to come up with an actual business strategy so you can't blame).

Cons

The leadership is fast-tracking the downward spiral. They are either checked out, or making business decisions for purely personal gains or motives. Arrogance and misogyny run deep under the veil of "change." Change is code for incompetence in this case. If you read the other reviews, you'll notice trends...they are true and things are fast getting worse.

Lack of leadership creates no win for employees

Pros

Snapfish used to be a dynamic and energetic company composed on passionate people. Employees have good relationships with each other and are doing their best for their customers.

Cons

There is a serious lack of leadership in the company. The people currently in senior leadership positions are inexperienced, uncaring and reactive. They tend to stick together, make all decisions among themselves and then hand down orders down. The continuous fire-fighting is burning people out. This would not be a place that I would recommend to someone who is smart and passionate and wants to build the career path.
