Pros
Compensation is very good, base + RSUs. Product is transformative and customers overall are happy with it. Company is constantly improving the product and adding new features.
Cons
I feel like the company is undergoing a phase of intense pressure to keep up the image of high growth for the stock market. There is a lot of pressure on the sales side to acquire new customers and to greatly increase consumption on the installed accounts. This pressure is causing a lot of extra work and low tolerance for failure on the sales organization. My onboarding to Snowflake was disjointed and I cycled through a variety of managers over a year's time. The ongoing battle between Snowflake and Databricks can feel like a schoolyard fight at times and can lead to sudden shifts in company priorities.
