      Pros

      There are no “best reasons” to work here. When it was DealerSocket things were pretty great, but once the Solera leadership took over the morale tanked and has yet to recover.

      Cons

      Too many “cons” to list them all. And they all start with the leadership (Vehicle Solutions specifically). There is absolutely no empathy within the culture. There is no concern for associates. And frankly, these leaders do not know how to be a CRM or DMS sales organization. The culture is toxic!

      Colleagues were great as were some lower management. The projects weren't too bad

      Cons

      Upper Management, they didn't care anything about the person, especially after being acquired by an equity firm. When that happened the situation went from bad to worst to bottom sucker. That equity firm did what they do best and trimmed the fat by giving out pink slips in mass quantity. If there was a way to rate it lower, believe me, I would!!!! The worst was when they fired the brand new CEO after only about 3 months. Especially when moral started improving because of that CEO.

      Pros

      Coworkers can be nice, they're suffering with you too so everyone tries to help one another out and talk crap about the higher-ups behind their backs.

      Cons

      This is the place to work if you want to be treated like garbage, paid like trash, not trusted at all, and given no resources to achieve goals. Everyone who was good at their job left because they're smart enough to see a sinking ship. Not to mention the aggressive offshoring.
