Pros

SonderMind has good intentions about enabling clients to access mental healthcare. They offer good benefits and relatively decent pay. There are trainings offered occasionally to teach employees about allyship, Juneteenth, black history month and Latinx history. They send good merch as gifts, which is fun.

Cons

Leadership at SonderMind is not very diverse. It often feels like the “good ol’ boys” running the show. Leadership is not transparent enough when big changes are coming or after they happen. SonderMind implements new programs and processes without fully thinking through the logistics and ramifications of each decision.

-Positive social mission (helping many lives daily!!) -Industry leader -Continues to "try", reflect and improve culture over time -Intelligent & hard-working colleagues -Strong benefits package

Cons

-Not great upward mobility opportunities (tends to higher leadership roles from outside) -Tends to pay below market compensation -Leadership team seemingly usually not on same page (creating politics at the director/mid-mgmt level) -Less transparent over time
