Pros

The matching is more likely than not be effective. That's about it.

Cons

They bulk charge clients to the point that hundreds of dollars are charged at the same time. I've lost clients over this They never return emails or phone calls. Hold times are ridiculous. Their system goes down so often that claims are not honored for weeks after processing, if they can be processed at all. The communication is awful. They have become another greedy, corporate entity whose only desire is make as much money as possible.

-Fully remote -Free mental healthcare

Cons

-Horribly out of touch management. For the Juneteenth holiday, they sent me barbecue sauce and a watermelon scented candle. Which felt wrong and tone-deaf. Then they were making a company video and a manager said he needed to use a woman with a "Latina accent" in the video, which also was wrong and tone-deaf. Sad to see this still occurring in this day and age. -Pay is too low. They will keep piling on work without compensating you for it and have no growth opportunities. You are just a number to them and will burn you out. -The app sucks. I tried to use it for appointments and it would crash or be unresponsive. Had to use a browser on my phone. -Morale was low and getting worse every day.

Pros

HSA monthly contributions were helpful for paying personal medical costs. Most of the support team agents are great workers and truly care about improving mental health!

Cons

Sondermind’s company values are abbreviated as CCLAB, which stands for curious, courageous, lightful, authentic and bucketworthy. However, the leadership fail to display any of these qualities when dealing with lower level employees. Additionally, multiple support agents have witnessed leaders in the customer support department display blatantly prejudice behavior and treatment towards employees of color. Employees of color receive ruthless disparate treatment at the hands of the support team supervisors and HR permits it. Multiple people have quit due to this, or due to the general lack of urgency to fix the operational issues within the customer support department.
