Thank you for taking the time to post a review. We’re happy to hear you enjoy the friendly culture within our company. Over the past several years, Sonepar USA has shown tremendous growth in the US. Due to the decline of commodity prices, especially in oil and gas, our business growth has been affected. This led us to be selective with hiring and merit increases in our corporate office and some of our business units. We are now in the new year and will be providing merit increases to our associates to recognize their performance and are also seeing the industry begin to bounce back from it’s decline. We do complete compensation surveys with appropriate market data to develop our compensation schemes and they are competitively validated in regard to that.
We always strive to promote from within when possible and offer Learning and Development opportunities for associates at all levels. We have a multitude of options from instructor lead courses to our on-line training channel called Training EDU, available 24/7, to assist our associates with career development. We continually look to heighten our progress on displaying career growth opportunities to associates. It is unfortunate that you did not feel as though that was available to you.
