Pros

Broad product line to sell. Support of many manufacturers

Cons

Terrible electronic cataloging. Products would be sourced from multiple warehouses, manufacturers, & Direct shipments causing multiple shipments and receiving by customers. Management is constantly reducing inventory and running out of product for customers. Sales and Operations run seperately and do not walk the same strategy.

Sonepar Management Group is our corporate organization, and does not have a Sales department or electric catalog of products. However, you may be referring to one of our operating companies. • Inventory assortment is completely controlled through our field sales and customer service teams. We actively support the investment of productive inventory to support our customers. It’s a vital component of our service model. • It’s exciting to say that service levels have never been higher at Vallen, and we have added significant investments into inventory in 2017 to support growing demand. Understandably, poor performing inventory is addressed with the sales and customer service teams as well. • We are actively remodeling our legacy IDG supply chain to a Regional DC model, which brings inventory closer to our customers and improves lead times • If there are any questions on inventory practices or discomfort with operations strategies or tactics, please feel free to reach out to your regional operations leader. Pros

The people I worked with. My co-workers were awesome!

Cons

pay is terrible, management is terrible, favoritism is rampant, no loyalty to employees, co-workers with longevity making less than new employees. reverse-discrimination against hardworking, white women. This place is toxic and an HR nightmare!
