There has been a significant shift in the relationship and ratio of FTEs to contractors as part of a recent realignment, and we are building a stronger partnership across departments. We are always striving to find the best balance between associate leadership and contractor expertise, and will continue to staff appropriately based on business needs.

      When I came to Sonepar USA 17 years ago it was a place that I could help build, hire staff, mentor, coach and make a difference. I often ask myself what I enjoy most about my life or my career. I always revert back to the fact that I feel as though I have made a difference and contributed to helping people on a personal and professional level.

      Cons

      - We struggle a bit at transforming our company and maintaining our small company feel.

      Thank you for your review! As we grow, we are always striving to continue to provide personal touch points for our associates, and communication is key. We have implemented quarterly simulcasts as a vehicle to reach thousands of associates. We are continuing to launch our employer engagement survey to get feedback from our associates on how they feel about being part of our company. We are also enhancing our corporate philanthropy program, Sonepar Cares, to connect associates across different departments and locations.
